Getting To Know Your Zion Volunteers

Josie LaFave is an amazing volunteer at Zion! She has served with Wednesday Night Suppers, and the Transition Team, and is currently active as part of a Welcome Crew, lector, Meals on Wheels, on the Call Committee for our next Senior Pastor, and is excited to re-join the Global Missions Committee after a two-year absence.
Josie loves to be a team player and building up her fellow teammates!

A few things about Josie:

A. It would be a children’s book, chronicling the shenanigans that my five siblings and I have had together.

Q. What is the scariest thing you’ve ever done for fun?
A. Skydiving~ and I don’t need to do that again!

Q. What is the best gift you’ve ever received?
A. Time with family and friends.

Q. What is your dream job?
A. Running a pet resort to be able to play and snuggle with dogs all day.

Q. What is something you were known for in high school/college?
A. I was voted teacher’s pet senior year of high school.

Q. If you could transform into any animal, what would it be?
A. A dog.

Q. If you were a color what would it be?
A. Blue

Q. What superpower would you choose to have?
A. I would want to fly. It would sure cut down on travel costs!

Q. What was your favorite TV show as a kid?
A. Little House on the Prairie; I had a small crush on Almanzo.

Q. If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A. Salads, because the ingredients can be endless!

Q. What song best describes you?
A. “Murder in the City” by The Avett Brothers. It’s a dark song title, but the lyrics are touching and it reminds me how grateful I am to have my husband and family.
