New Members

You are invited to attend New Member Connect. This is for both those who are brand new to Zion and those who have been around for many years and just not gotten around to becoming an official member.

Membership is one way of connecting to this faith community.  Membership affirms that we are connected together for the mission of this congregation and for the mutual development of our faith in Christ Jesus. “New Member Connect” is an opportunity to spend time in conversation with Zion pastors, staff, and others and to find out more about our mission and vision before committing to membership.

Gather in the youth room (on the East side of the building - towards the lake) between worship service (9:30-10:30am), where we will have a comfortable spot waiting for you! Children are welcome and the nursery is open and staffed during this time as well. Coffee, juice, and light breakfast choices will be provided.

We are excited to announce the upcoming Affirmation of Baptism to be held on Sunday, October 27, at 2pm at Zion. We couldn’t be more proud of Zion’s confirmation students! They have completed the three-year program, all of the requirements set before them and created lifelong connections with their Zion faith family. God is at work in their hearts and we can’t wait to watch them lay claim to the promises of their baptism. We, along with their guides, feel blessed to have walked alongside of them during this part of their faith journey. We invite you to pray for them as they prepare for this awe-inspiring affirmation from God that nothing will ever separate them from the love of God given in Christ Jesus!
