Financial Report 2022.06

It is an exciting time at Zion as we continue to rebuild and recover from our COVID days. For the month of June, our offerings were $49,600 which is about $1,000 more than we gave last June. For the year to date, our total income is around $366,000 which is about $5,000 less than we had at this point last year.

Because we are reestablishing programs and staff, and with utility costs rising, our expenses for the month of June are about $5,600 more than what they were in June of 2021. For this first half of the year, expenses are greater than last year’s at this time by about $58,800. For the year so far, our expenses have exceeded our income by over $39,000.

Some time ago, Zion applied to receive the Employee Retention Credit which is part of the CARES Act. Our application was accepted and we now have received those funds.

We hope you feel the momentum of our congregation moving forward. Thanks to all who are financially contributing to Zion. It is your gifts that make it possible for us to create the ministry which we all want to see happen.

John
