I’ve been blessed with incredible parents, a loving home, and support not everyone is fortunate enough to have. I’m lucky to live the life I do, however, everyone has valleys to walk through. Kris grew up in the small town of Wheaton, MN. She and her husband Jack are both retired educators and have lived in Buffalo for 42 years. During my last 12 years in education, I served as the principal at Maple Lake Elementary School. Our oldest daughter, Abby, teaches 3rd grade in Monticello and our youngest daughter, Anna, teaches English at Buffalo High School. Both of our daughters and their families live in Buffalo. Chuck Zumbusch is serving in his second year of three and was initially elected to the Zion Council in 2022. He also serves on the Stewardship Committee, and has previously supported the last Capital Campaign, Finance Committee, and helped with the annual external review of the books and records testing and attestation work. He is married to Tammy, who is a lifelong member of Zion. Together we try to raise 5 kids ranging in age from 11-22
Entering my second year on Zion’s Church Council, and a second year on the Executive Committee as treasurer, I am thankful for a faith journey that includes the capable people I serve with. I am 18 years old and a senior at Buffalo High school. I moved to Buffalo 13 years ago.
