Cemetery Changes

The Zion cemetery board held its winter meeting in early March and approved significant modifications to Zion cemetery this summer. Last summer, Zion purchased 3 acres surrounding the cemetery. The purchase extended the cemetery about 50 feet further to the south of the existing property line and also to the east (see the associated land plot photo). Student Spotlight: Emily Lewis

I was born in August, and my parents were just thrilled to have a Friday the 13th baby. I went to Park Spanish Immersion school and St. Louis Park Middle School until I moved to Maple Lake in seventh grade. Youth Directors Named

After months of work including culling through applications, interviewing candidates, and seeking God’s guidance, the Youth Director Search Team has finished their work and joyfully announce that Zion has filled the opening in our youth ministries team! Holly Husom and Tammy Zumbusch have agreed to serve as Directors of Youth Ministry, with the primary task of providing a ministry with youth that will strengthen our youth’s relationships with Jesus, their peers, and their connection to the faith community of Zion.
