Summer has arrived in a big way with hotter than average temperatures and smoke in the skies. Big things are happening at Zion as well. The Call Committee continues to make good progress in their search for an Associate Pastor for Zion. Vacation Bible School was a great success with more kids than last year and an outpouring of volunteers to make the weeklong program a success. I think the message and recap provided the Sunday following VBS was important for all of us to hear: In every and all things, Shine Jesus’ Light. Such a simple, but valuable lesson for all of us to carry with us and incorporate into our daily lives. It was a great reminder for me and hopefully, for all of you as well.
