Thank you to all those who took part in SERVE Weekend 2023. What a happy and productive weekend. It was delightful to see your smiling faces as we served together. We successfully met each of the goals that we set for serving this year. Here are a few examples:

  • 20 teens fed -Timber Bay Meal
  • 18 Kits completed and more started- Days for Girls
  • 651 Thank you cards written for school staff
  • 13 Fleece blankets for Camp Noah
  • 13 Fleece blankets for The Blessing Closet
  • 100 Care Kits for LWR
  • 5 Ushers supporting Buffalo Community Theater
  • 284 people fed- community breakfast
  • 50 birthday Bags- Buffalo Food Shelf
  • 105 bikes to area children in partnership with Allina
  • Mulch around worship platform and trees- Zion
  • Donations to Flower Subscription/Sign-ups to arrange flowers with seniors at The Glenn
  • Bingo at Lakeridge Care Center
  • Ring & Sing at Parkview Care Center
  • 20 cat mats for donation-Crossroads Animal Shelter
  • 6 sign-ups for Be The Match
  • 8920 items of clothing donated through The Blessing Closet
  • 319 people served through the mobile food pantry
  • Set up, take down, clean up, and more
  • 500 completed service hours!
