Are you a knitter or crocheter? Zion is looking for folks, young or old, to participate in the prayer shawl ministry. You can work independently or as part of a group. Each knitter/crocheter begins each shawl with prayers and blessings for the recipient. Intentions are continued throughout the creation of the shawl. The gift of a prayer shawl enables the recipient to be surrounded by prayer and is a tangible reminder of God’s care and love, encouragement, and inspiration. Please contact the Zion office if you are interested in participating or leading a group like this.
Do you know someone who would benefit from the comfort of a prayer shawl? Zion has a few that are completed. Check with the office and we will provide you with one already packaged in a pretty gift bag. And, you are dropping off the prayer shawl, remember that we have a freezer full of meals that can also be shared.
