Lutefisk Dinner (October)
Zion holds an annual Lutefisk Dinner in October each year. Besides the Lute, the menu also includes meatballs, potatoes, rutabagas, lefse, cranberries, cake, milk, & coffee.
- Lutefisk Thanks
The Lutefisk committee would like to thank all the Zion volunteers who helped to make this year’s dinner a huge success as over 350 people were served again. Many commented about the great meal and the great help that was provided. It was especially a treat for the committee to hear all the positive comments about the youth that helped in the dining room. The committee looks forward to the young people helping each year and we believe the Lutefisk lovers appreciate their efforts also.
All of the proceeds of the dinner go to support Zion ministries and community ministries. The committee will be meeting in late November to decide how to allocate this year’s proceeds, another exciting part of the Lutefisk process for the committee. Since 2007, over $10,000 has been distributed.
The Lutefisk dinner for 2015 is set for Friday October 30. Mark your calendars now
