- Intergenerational Dinner
Zion Senior High youth will be hosting Zion’s senior adults (55+) at an Intergenerational Dinner on Sunday, March 11, starting at Noon in Fellowship Hall.
This will be an opportunity for those gathered to share their faith and their personality through hymns, stories, games and more.
The free meal will include Chicken Kiev, rice pilaf, corn, salad, dinner rolls and drinks.
Senior adults, please sign up at the Information Desk, in the front office, or online by Wednesday, March 7.
- A Mighty Fortress at Plymouth Playhouse
The Zionaires Seniors Group will visit Plymouth Playhouse to see the Church Basement Ladies in A Mighty Fortress (is Our Basement) on Thursday, February 2.
It’s 1960 and Beverly gets her first pair of high heels for confirmation; Peter announces his impending nuptials; Mrs. Snustad and Mrs. Gilmerson plan a food booth at the County Fair to raise money; and Mrs. Engelson embarks on a spontaneous driving lesson. Through it all these “bulwarks never failing” stand strong in their faith and in their friendships. With more crazy antics, more great new songs, and more lessons reluctantly learned, the church Basement Ladies are at it again in their new musical comedy, A Mighty Fortress (Is Our Basement)!

- The group will leave Zion at noon from Church for the 1pm performance
- The cost is $30 per person which includes transportation and ticket
- Those interested can meet at Culver’s for a late lunch / early dinner upon returning to Buffalo
