Children’s Ministry: Children’s Ministry Office Assistant

Duties: Assist in preparing projects for Sunday school. Assist in organizing the Sunday school office. Assist in filing and organization of Sunday school documents. Assist in gathering materials needed for Sunday school lessons.

Time Commitment: Low(Create your own scheduled times to help. Work can be taken home or done on site.)
Preparation Commitment : Low (Materials will be provided and directions clearly outlined)

Children’s Ministry: Children & Family Ministry Team

Duties: Serve as a member of a visionary board which helps plan long range goals for our Children’s Ministry program. Review and help choose curriculm needed for the churches many programs.( needed)
Time Commitment: Low(Attend bi-monthly meeting. Participate in Children’s Ministry events as a representative of the Christian Education Committee)
Preparation Commitment : Low (Attend meetings)

Children’s Ministry: Event Service Team

Duties: Help coordinate and plan events hosted by Children’s Ministries. Provide set up assistance. Assist in serving meals. Assist in kitchen clean up(10-Aug needed)
Time Commitment: Low, Medium(3 to 4 events a year (Prep for Father Daughter Dance, Assist with Teacher Appreciation Banquet, Assist with VBS Banquet, Assist with Homecoming Celebration))
Preparation Commitment : Medium (Help to plan meals, assist in serving meals, assist in set up for events, assist in clen up after event is complete.)

Children’s Ministry: Grade 1-4 Sunday School Opening Worship Leader

Duties: Lead opening worship activities using the lessons provided as a guide. Work with Directors of Children’s Ministries to plan and prepare opening worship(2 needed)
Time Commitment: High(Every Sunday, one program year. Lead worship for the first 20 minutes)
Preparation Commitment : High (Lesson ;lanning and preparation for each Sunday)

Children’s Ministry: Grade 1-4 Sunday School Rotation Leader

Duties: Teach 1 lesson in the area of your interest (lesson plan provided for you) for 3 consecutive Sundays(10+ needed)
Time Commitment: Low(One Rotation (3 consecutive Sundays), one program year)
Preparation Commitment : Medium (Read lesson plan material in advance and prepare to present it. Set up room and materials (all items will be provided for you and ready to go on Sunday morning))

Children’s Ministry: Grade 1-4 Sunday School Shepherd

Duties: Lead a group of children for the entire Sunday school year. Build a relationship with children and families. Help kids complete the activities during rotation, and assist them in making Bible connections.(30+ needed)
Time Commitment: High(Every Sunday, one program year (job share is an option))
Preparation Commitment : Low (Keep in contact with the children)
Qualifications:
Support: Lesson plans provided. Shepherd training available before Sunday school begins. On going communication and support from the Directors of Children & Family Ministries.

Children’s Ministry: Grade 5-6 Sunday School Classroom Teachers

Duties: Lead a group of 5th and 6th grade boys or girls for an entire program year. Prepare a lesson every other week for small group traditional instruction. Encouraged, but not required to attend Grapple sessions on the off weeks with your Sunday school class.(6 needed)
Time Commitment: High(Every Sunday, one program year (team teaching is an option))
Preparation Commitment : High (Lesson planning and preparation every other Sunday)

Duties: Lead and instruct Grapple sessions every other week. Work with Grapple curriculm team to create Grapple lessons(2 needed)

Children’s Ministry: Pre-K Sunday School Art Rotation Leader

Duties: Instruct the art rotation for one Sunday school year. Incorporate the Bible stories into the children’s art creations using the lesson plan provided.(4 needed)

Children’s Ministry: Sunday School Hall Host

Duties: Be a welcoming presence on Sunday mornings to answer questions and provide info to parents. Hand out needed info to parents. Collect and count offering.(many needed)
Time Commitment: Low(Shared position, scheduled once a month or less.)

Children’s Ministry: Sunday School Jump Team

Duties: Be on weekly on call sub. Check in at the Sunday school office each Sunday to see if all poistions are full, or if a jump team member is needed. Be prepared to jump in and lead a rotation or shepherd a group.(12-Oct needed)

Preparation Commitment : Low (Materials will be provided and preparations made for you)

Duties: Field all calls from Sunday school volunteers in need of a substitute. Inform a list of volunteers of the subbing needs. Fill the position via phone or e-mail(4 needed)
Time Commitment: Low, Medium(Send emails when postion is in need of filling. Take calls and e-mails from volunteers in need of a sub.)

Children’s Ministry: Sunday School Substitute Teacher

Duties: Be able to teach or lead a small group at the service which you regularly attend if a rotation leader or shepherd is unable to attend(many needed)

Duties: Serves as office support in the Sunday school office on Sunday mornings. Helps direct parents and children in need of assistance. Collect Sunday school offering each Sunday morning. Input attendance on to computer database. Help organize and clean Sunday school office(4 needed)
Time Commitment: High(Every Sunday, one program year (job share is an option))
Preparation Commitment : Low (Attend scheduled Sundays)
