Grateful

This panel is titled “Grateful,” in grateful appreciation to the Harvest of Hands ministry team whose primary focus is feeding the hungry, locally and worldwide. Blessed to receive, we are called to share. Harvest of Hands volunteers also worked with the students in creating all the panels. The body figures are rejoicing in the abundance given by God our provider.

This mosaic tile artwork is one of eight 2×4-foot pieces created by 2012 Vacation Bible School students, grades one through six. LeeAnn Goerss planned and supervised the project, Mike Otten grouted them, and the Memorials & Placement Committee helped fund them. Panels will be posted on Pinterest throughout the 2012-2013 school year, and all of the panels will eventually be on permanent display at Zion.
