ELCA Social Concerns Survey

The ELCA Church Council appointed an Addressing Social Concerns Review Task Force this past fall in response to the 2011 Churchwide Assembly action calling for a review of our social statement process.

The task force is currently addressing how we as a church will respond to social concerns and a desire to find the best way to understand what God is calling the church to do in the world. The review is to be completed and brought to the fall 2012 Church Council meeting, with a report to the 2013 ELCA Churchwide Assembly.

In order to assist the task force in their work, we are inviting all ELCA members to complete a brief questionnaire. The task force would be grateful to get a wide diversity of responses. The survey will be open until July 15.
