Garden Improvements

Share your springtime gardening interest by adopting one of 25 garden plots along the south side of Zion’s main parking lot.

Some of the 10’ wide and 10-14’ deep plots have been adopted, and others are still waiting for someone to care for them this year. Gardens are often maintained in memory of a loved one, or just as a place to share your gardening interest and help spread color and joy around Zion.

In March, one of the two rows of evergreen trees was removed to increase sunshine and good air circulation. This spring an irrigation system will also be added to the area. Both these projects were funded through a gift to Zion’s Memorial Fund.
