Operation John 13:34

What a success, troops! 65 holiday cookie and meal care packages were delivered, and well received in December. There were so many, many blessings that helped to make this mission a success!

Thank you to the Sunday School students, youth, and adults who:

• donated cookie tins and money
• helped make cookie dough
• helped set up for the Sunday school cookie and candy making day
• colored greeting cards
• made cookies and candy (especially the Sunday school students) [photos]
• procured ingredients
• donated white sauce
• made and packaged the meal (especially the youth group) [photos]
• helped deliver meals to the Coborn’s freezer (remember we had those unseasonably warm temps and freezers full of cookies?!)
• packed the cookies and meals into nice gift bags at Club456 [photos]
• helped deliver the packages

And to the Lutefisk Committee, Cub Foods, Coborn’s, Wal-Mart and Sterling Drug for donations.
