How Much Was Raised?

The 2011 annual event was fun and raised much money for our mission to fight local and world hunger.

Here are the totals we have so far for 2011:

Café/Brunch $1,040.00
Crafts/Baked Goods/Candy $9,852.51
White Elephant $1,144.61
Silent Auction $3,814.00
Thrivent Matching $800.00
Cash Donations $181.17
Expenses $-764.28
Total $16,068.01

Where Does It Go?

Funds raised at the 2011 event will support the Truckload of Life food packaging project on April 15. Any surplus funds will support the Buffalo Food Shelf.

Now What?

There is much to accomplish in 2012 to fight local and global hunger.  Volunteers will meet on January 10 at 7pm in the Wilderness Room to gear up for the Truckload of Life Project, a community packaging event set for April 15, and to plan a fundraising event for Valentine’s Day.  Please consider helping plan the events for the Truckload of Life Project.

Many craft projects are already planned for this year. Regular morning craft sessions will begin on January  10 at 9am in the Wilderness Room and continue on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month.  Regular evening craft sessions will begin on January 11 at 7pm in the Wilderness Room and continue on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month.

All are welcome for fellowship, fun, and treats.
