Thank You for Serving the Community

The Social Ministry Committee wishes to thank you for participating in reaching out in our community to help our neighbors in the month of November:

• Thanks for delivering meals 7 days a week, 3 routes a day to shut-ins in Buffalo with the Meals on Wheels program in November.
• Thanks for writing thank you cards for our people serving in the military, and for donations of cookies and candy to fill Christmas stockings for our troops.
• Thanks for helping with the assembly and distribution of the Food Shelf Thanksgiving Baskets to over 300 families in Buffalo.
• Thanks to all who donated and volunteered at the American Red Cross Blood Drive held at Zion in November. 54 units were collected. The next blood drive will be May 17, 2012. Anyone interested in serving as an assistant coordinator please contact Bev Smith or the Red Cross office (651-291-4662).
