Sunday School and Sanctuary Sundays

posted on September 19, 2011

We are excited to have Sunday School back in session, and blessed to work with so many wonderful volunteers, parents and of course, children!

Sanctuary Sundays

Zion celebrates “Sanctuary Sunday” on the fourth Sunday of each month as a time for families to come to church together. Sunday School will not be in session this day, so that you can worship together as a family. Worship services for Sanctuary Sundays will be specifically inclusive of the children, and build and strengthen the relationships with which God has blessed us.

Learning through worship and experiencing our church family in a new and powerful way are what Sanctuary Sunday is all about.  Don’t miss the opportunity to come and learn more about what Jesus meant when he said, “Love one another as I have loved you!”

There is not a Sanctuary Sunday in September. The first Sanctuary Sunday for this year will be on Sunday, October 23. Bibles will be distributed to children in Kindergarten and third grade. Please plan to join us for this Sanctuary Sunday, and help celebrate this milestone with our children.
