According to the Bible, is it OK to be wealthy?

A. Yes, it is OK to be wealthy. In fact the Bible not only attributes our ability to produce wealth to God, (Deuteronomy 8:17, 18) but it gives specific advice on increasing our wealth (Proverbs 3:9,10 and others). Many of the great stories of faith involve people who had tremendous wealth. Solomon, responsible for part of the Bible, had phenomenal wealth, even by today’s standards.
