Dresses for Jamaica
For this year’s Zion Vacation Bible School mission project, students will be finishing and decorating dresses for girls at the orphanage the Mission Jamaica team visited in February. The dresses are made from pillow cases.
This Saturday, May 14, many volunteers are needed to help with getting the project to the point where the VBS students will take over. This workday will start at 9am and be led by the Harvest of Hands crew who have already worked on several dresses.
Tasks will included cutting, sewing, and threading elastic. Bring a sewing machine if possible.
Contact Holly Husom (hhusom@zionbuffalo.org / 763.682.1245) or Joy Arens (763.658.6124) if you have other questions, or just show up on the workday.
